Rough chop

Layer all into the pot in the above order.
You want the dense ingredients to soak in the water.  Add

2 ½
Cups
Water

Cover the pot and let sit overnight in the fridge if you wish.  At breakfast time set the covered pot over medium heat.  Set a timer for 15 mins.
Stir.  Taste and test for texture.  You’ll likely set the timer again for 10 more mins.  Once done, turn off timer and let rest for 10 mins.  Serve w/ yogurt if desired.  This serves 2.  But if you like it make double and triple batches.  It freezes great.  Also, remember your fresh herbs to break the fast.  Mint, Aztec sweet herb, stevia leaves, basil, lemon balm and more.
